Equip the Frontlines
BAATC is training SFO personnel to strategically disrupt trafficking before victims are scattered throughout our region and country, making the SF Bay Area a difficult and risky place for traffickers to do their illicit business.
The current travel slowdown allows more time for personnel to do their training. With less crowded airports, they can immediately begin to spot traffickers who continue to move their victims through airports unconcerned with their victims’ safety.
Only 15 % of BAATC’s frontline training program costs are paid for by the airports. In order to expand our training to Oakland, San Jose, and Sacramento International airports, we need your financial support.
$50 pays for 2 Frontline Workers to complete trafficking identification training.
$100 pays for materials and logistics for BAATC to host an onsite interactive training for a group of Airport Supervisors (e.g. Duty Managers, Guest Services, and Lead Custodial Managers).
$500 pays for filming video content BAATC uses for training courses and educational/promotional assets.
$1000 pays for the translation of BAATC training courses into one of the necessary foreign languages for California (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Tagalog, and Korean).
$5000 pays for BAATC to bring all training courses online, which allows for the scalability to train thousands of personnel.
